Environmental Programmes & Achievements

Environmental Compliance Plan

In fact a number of programmes have been established to achieve excellence in environmental performance. A comprehensive compliance plan has been agreed with the Bahrain Government’s Environment and Wildlife Protection General Directorate, which will ensure compliance with all the relevant environmental legislation. The compliance plan will be delivered over a 10-year period starting from the year 2000 at cost of around 248 million US dollars.
