Environmental Management System (EMS)

Another key programme, currently underway is the implementation of an EMS consistent with ISO14001. A comprehensive environmental management system provides the foundation for a sustained improvement in environmental performance, as it includes an evaluation of significant environmental impacts, their management and achieving continual improvement. The EMS is being implemented in a phased manner across all of Bapco’c operations, starting with the Refinery and will then roll over to other areas.
