Convention Concerning The Protection Of Workers Against Ionizing Radiations

Objectives:

To protect workers, in regarding to their Health And safety, against Ionizing Radiations.

Summary of Provisions:

  • All parties should draw up regulations, codes of practice or other appropriate measures [art.1.]
  • The convention applies to all activities which involves exposure of workers to ionizing radiations during work [art.2.]
  • Maximum Permissible doses should only be applied for various categories of workers [art.6.]

Membership :
Open to all state members Of the International Labour Organization.
