Convention Relative to the Preservation of Fauna and Flora
in their Natural State
Objectives:
To preserve the natural fauna and flora of certain parts
of the world, particularly of Africa, by means of National
Parks and Reserves and by regulation of hunting and collection
of species.
Summary of Provisions:
- Establishment of national parks and natural reserves
- Preservation of forests
- Protection of specific species of listed annex
- Prohibit certain methods of hunting like poison, explosion
and net
