Geographical aspects:
Wadi Al Allaqi is a valley formed by the drying up of
a large river, 275 km in length with an average width
of 1 km. The reserve is divided into three zones: the
core zone, the buffer zone and the transition zone.
Flora:
More than 90 species of annual and perennial plants.
Fauna:
Fifteen species of mammals, 16 species of birds, few
venomous reptiles, and large number of invertebrates.
